Place deserves 5 stars, the waiters deserve 2 stars and the food 4 stars, but the portions are just enormous. Waiter said when you have a phone in your hand, they will not bother you...!

Delicious food and beautiful decor.However the staff was not friendly at all and the service was painfuly slow.Prices are way up there too.

Chic, clean restaurant. From the decoration to everything even the bathroom is amazing and clean ! You can bring your wine/beer but no strong alcohol. For birthday celebrations if you bring your own cake there's service fees, i don't know how much since im not the one who brought it but one of my friends. The plates are huge, big portion! You don't really need an entree lol if you not that hungry!

Nice place and the plate presentation is nice but my boyfriend had a sushi plate with the dragon eye and that is not the way we're use to eating it. It had a deep fried shrimp inside and was deep fried outside and too cooked. The dragon eye sauce was just ok. Also the wasabi was too little and dry. They had groups of people celebrating and singing and it was very loud. The good thing is it's a byow but I've been to better ones. I wouldn't go back.

First time in this place and I was amazed For the ambiance,service and delicious food.

Went with family during lunch hour really enjoyed ourselves. Portion to price = leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The salmon I recommend.

I had high expectations for the sushi but it didn’t blow my mind. My husband has the general tap plate and he wasn’t impressed either. Big money but not best quality.

Very good for a bring your own wine. Service was decent but you could tell the waiter was either very busy or didn't care. He was always rushed. If you took time to think he was already walking away. The portions are HUGE. the presentation is photogenic. Table is a good size and the chairs quite comfortable. The plates are very expensive. For two people we paid $65 tax and tip incl. + wine

The restaurant is really beautiful, the decor makes you feel like you're somewhere else! The food was very nice with good portions. If you like fish dishes or seafood, there's more options for you. It's a good place for a date, a birthday, a happy hour. I do recommend reserving a table first & dressing casual chic

Great ambiance,beautiful setting, very generous portion of General Tao table d’hôte.Three people can eat this dish,chicken more then batter. Possibility to eat in a Tatami even if your 2-4. BYOB!!! Choice of dishes are common, but with a twist. For exemple:WonTon noodles were fried instead of steamed! I highly recommend this restaurant for Parties and on a date!

It's a nice place. Good place for Lunch or even to dinner. The staff aren't too inviting, rude sometimes. The service is extremely slow, food is good most of the time. Nonetheless better than your average than your lunch spot and the price is right and the plates are big enough.UpdateWe went back for lunch on Friday. I see a lot of improvement from my visit two years ago. The service was much more courteous and fast. We were a group of 20 for lunch. Portions were good food was good. Glad they improved.keep up the good work.

Wooow wooow woooww!!!!! The quality and the quantity of foods is AMAZING. I never ate so well at a chinese fusion restaurant. This one gets the award for thr BEST!!!!! I'm going back for sure. I don't know what else to say but wooow

Amazing venue, great service but disappointing and overpriced food. They clearly had to cut corners somewhere with the lack of a full Alcohol license. However it is a nice space if you are looking to have a get together on style. Maybe just eat something beforehand. 😂

Probably one of the most beautiful Asian Restaurant I’ve been to.And it’s a Bring your own Wine 🍷 🙌A multi level restaurant,often very busy and you know why by setting inside.Gorgeous decor and generous plates. Decent prices.Available Parking around the restaurant or you can Also park in the BMO parking on Saint-Martin street 2 minutes away.Make sure to ask for lower level reservation if you come in large groups, as you can get a private table in a private little room next to water with amazing beautiful Asian fish 🐠 You can also try Kyomi restaurant in Montreal (Lasalle) same owner and as good as Tamashi!😉

Food is great and portions sizes will definitely leave you with food to go. Service started off good but slowly deteriorated throughout the night to leave an overall mediocre service experience, it can use some work but overall great restaurant

Nice chic lunch hour restaurant, I haven’t tried the dinner, but the lunch is really good. I’ve tried three times this restaurant. I highly recommend the Nid D’amour, grillades, and général tao. They even have the poke bowl option for healthy eating. The environment is chic decorated and quite. For lunch hour, all meals come with soup. The water they served is limed water. Service is also excellent. Returning client and 5 stars for sure.

Unfortunately, long wait for food, everytime. Tried a few times hoping it would get better but no. Wait is on average 2 to 3 hours to receive your food. Ridiculous. Also avoid sitting downstairs as they forget about you. I had to get up everytime to find our waiter if we needed water or anything. By the time we got our food,which was no longer hot, we were so fed up of waiting we just wanted to leave. Also, parking is horrible, not enough spots for the capacity of the restaurant, you have to park elsewhere at the risk of getting your car towed. LAST TIME. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

A nice Japanese themed restaurant that offers a nice decor. The food was good, but maybe not worth the price that you are paying. However since it is a BYOW, I guess the meals tend to be more on the expensive side. However the staff is friendly and service is good.

Delicious food as usual. I'm from USA but when I'm here I got to stop by Tamashi to get some of this goodness. La nourriture est vraiment délicieuse et le service est bon aussi!

A must try. The concept is different than other Asian restaurant and I love my buddha bowl. Do not forget to bring your own wine as they do not offer that option. The service was well done and our waitress was really nice. For birthday parties, it is also a good place.

Very charming atmosphere with a super friendly staff. Dishes are well presented and abundant. The bring your own wine concept allows you to choose your budget.
